The purchased product is the access to the Cell Phone Cash’s membership area. There are 7 training modules spreading over a 7 weeks’ period, as you can see in the screenshot below. All of the modules follow the theory – practice structure: first the method is talked about in general (theory part) and then the demonstrations show you how to implement that method, over his shoulder (the practice part). There are 7 weeks of modules, however you are given only module 1 at first, the next module is only unlocked 7 days after.

After watching most of the videos, I realized that Cell Phone Cash is not only about promoting information products, it’s also a branding building and publicity tool. From here I have thought of some other ways to make money from this system, besides affiliate marketing.

The contents of Cell Phone Cash

There are 7 modules of video training in this course. Each week has several video training videos. A list of video training modules are listed below:

This video goes deeper into doing niche research. He also shows how to use Youtube in niche research.
Video 5 – Making money in 48 hours
Only in the 5th video that Mack Michaels starts to talk about the actual method. He outlines the actual business model here. Basically the model is: find an offer – create the message – launch message on mobile networks – monitor and make changes.
Video 6 – Demonstration for analyzing the industry
Video 7 – Demonstration for discovering proven methods
Video 8 – Demonstration for making money in 48 hours
The demonstration are the longer versions of the previous videos. He talks in depth about each topic. As the audience of cell phone marketing is very wide, he was trying to point out the niches that appeal to a big variety of people, in particular from Clickbank marketplace. The 8th video is the longest, it shows step by step how to work with the system, starting with the very basics, for example signing up for Clickbank, to signing up in the mobile marketing network and setting up an ad. There are many ways to do mobile marketing and in this Week 1 he only talks about one of them. In this module on Clickbank and one mobile marketing network are dealt with.

Even though this first week’s videos reveal a completely new way to earn money, there are some flaws in it. Firstly the information in this first week is too basic, if the learner jumps in right here, he will lose money. Clickbank has often too long sales pages and the cellphone readers will lose interest in such long text. Secondly the buying and getting the product through Clickbank is too complicated for cell phone users, people are often hesitant to take out their credit card information on their computer screen, let alone a cellphone.

In this module he’s stressing more about the importance of choosing the right offer. The video 2 is the one that I see a lot of sense in it, which gives a list of criteria an offer should have to be a suitable one for cell phone marketing.

Most of these proven success paths are quite common and nothing new about it. However the third item is definitely new to the internet marketing community and Mack Michaels claimed that he made the most money in this third method.

Good website to find a big variety of offers (roirocket.com), these offers mostly are not products like Clickbank but offers that pays out much smaller but requires a lot fewer actions from the cell phone users.

The mobile marketing network is still the same like week 1. But other ways to monetize in different way.
The second module basicly repeats the first module, but in a more advanced way. So what lacks and is flawed in module 1 is fulfilled in module 2. In fact I think it’s quite annoying to give this information in week 2, when people already lost some money due to the too plain information they get the week before.

Mack talked very deeply and many times about doing research on your target audience, including trends, demands and behaviour of the audience and which region to promote your offers. It must be a strong point you have to consider in your campaign. I can see this is serious marketing tasks, that you have to put in some time and work. How to copy and learn from the “advertising big boys” is also discussed again in this module. The demonstration is an overview about how to use all the websites to find the trends (there are 6 websites in order to find out about this) and to find keywords for your campaigns. Mack Michaels also showed how to create good ad copy and gives examples of good headlines.

The video 4 is the best video of this module (or the whole course) when he explains the best marketing methods that he has tested. In this video, he says that direct linking to an affiliate blog/website from cellphone will result in failures. Again, this should have been spoken about right from Module 1. There are 5 methods talked about in this video and sending people to a landing page is the “last resort” according to Mack Michaels. He claims that the first 3 methods are the ones that he made 90% of his cellphone marketing commissions. This module also shows how to set up ads for each marketing method.

Personally I think this section is interesting and useful as I am thinking about outsourcing to some cheaper countries, especially the demonstration part. However the best part of this module is when he demonstrates how to systematize everything. He creates a list of tasks that one has to follow when implementing the Cell Phone Cash system.

The advanced techniques are claimed to be ‘most profitable’, ‘most necessary to apply in cell phone marketing’. This video 2 is very useful, however this information was kind of repeated from the previous videos, so if you pay attention to all the details Mack Michaels talked about before, you know all of this stuff already.

Pros and Cons of Cell Phone Cash:

Cons: The organisation of the course is not logical and convenient for the learners. A lot of information is repeating and conflicting each other. Mack Michaels seems to realize these flaws also and has warned people about products that don’t convert and products that do in a reddish box below the video.
The structure of the course is not clear and even though plentiful information is presented, it’s not presented in a way that learners can look back and easily find. The whole course could have been combined into a big one and structured differently. It is also very frustrating to wait for 7 days to see another module.
The fact that Cell Phone Cash is a recurring billed product ($24.97 per month) was mentioned only once in the sales page, which makes many customers mistook that it costs only $24.97 for access of the course. However in real life, in order to see all of the modules you need to pay $49.49 (2 months of membership).

Pros: Compared to a lot of internet marketing courses that claim to be revolutionary and new, Cell Phone Cash is really an innovative and “off the beaten path”. It’s packed with a lot of useful information that can be used not only with this system but also with internet marketing in general. After going through 7 weeks of training materials, I did learn a lot about cell phone marketing, as well as how to attract and convert visitors into buyers.

In conclusion and tips for Cell Phone Cash users

Maverick Coaching’s Cell Phone Cash overall is a useful course and a new and innovative marketing method. It’s definitely not a scam. However the price should only be $24.97 for the whole course, not per month. Because that’s what it’s worth. You can make money with Cell Phone Cash, I confirm. And this is a new and not yet saturated method. However it requires a lot of market and offer research. These are the 2 most important aspects of this system. This is not a system that you only slap a few keywords and advertising lines and expect it will bring you a fortune. On the contrary, you will fail and lose money faster than you can imagine. This method is only for carefully planned and well-researched campaigns.

TIPS: – If you don’t want to spend almost $50 for the whole course, cancel your membership after the 4th module is unlocked. All the essentials of Cell Phone Cash are presented in these 4 modules already. The rest are only repeating information and how to expand this business by outsourcing, which you can live without.
- DO NOT attempt to start any campaign before you have completed 4 first modules. Watch these 4 modules at least twice before you start anything.

In order to work more effectively and stop my long-term procrastination, I bought Derek Franklin’s The Action Machine software. This review is my personal experience after using The Action Machine for a month and I already could see the difference it makes to my life!

The idea about the system that the action machine is based on is well presented in the software’s sales page. If you have not heard about this software before, you can visit its official website: The Action Machine. As a procrastinating and at the same time busy person, I would be more than happy to get all of my daily tasks done, let a lone to have full meals, 8 hours of sleep and socialize every day. The fact that I’m an internet marketer and spend most of my time working on the computer makes focusing even a more challenging job. Distraction is just one click away and then I can be drifted away from my main job and wander from sites to sites for hours.

I have read a lot of e-books and guides about how to stop procrastinating. And even though all of the advices are very useful and applicable, its really easy for me to get back to my “old sinful track”. Not until when I read the sales page of The Action Machine that I started to think that maybe only good advices are not enough, but I need a personal reminder that knows all of my plans and just pops up out of nowhere and tells me that “play time is over buddy, get back to work!”.

The software was created by Derek Franklin, a writer and software. After reading the whole sales page, including an endless flow of testimonials and watching the instructional video I decided to take out my credit card and paid 33EUR ($47) to get the software (Thank God it’s a good exchange rate day for European folks). Normally I only buy software after testing out their trial version, but this one offers a 8 weeks money back guarantee so I was thinking “What the heck!”. I was very excited to try out the software, I already know how to use it and the interface of the software looked exactly like what was shown on the instructional video in the sales page.

The software already has a built-in list of actions, running from Business related (for example marketing, writing, follow-up with clients, etc), Clean & Organize, Daily activities such as check & answer emails, read news, etc, family, food, finances, health & beauty and leisure.

On the right hand side there are 16 boxes which show the actions that you have planned. There is a 16-hour time bar that shows how much time in total your actions have taken up. There are 50 timer groups so when you use up 16 boxes in 1 timer group, you can use the next timer group. On the top of the software interface is a clock that shows the actual time and date, when you hover the mouse on it, it will turn into the time when all of your planned actions finish. This makes planning much easier and efficient.

What I like about this software is that you can print out a report of your completed actions. This is especially useful when I’m doing a project that I have to report the hour total to my client. In this case The Action Machine is a perfect project management tool. I normally put each action as a project work breakdown, set the time for it, finish it and print out the report for the client.

Since then The Action Machine has become a software I cannot live without. I have been using the software every day and in 2 ways: to plan my day and to keep track of my projects. I develop a habit of planning the following day before going to bed. I just started out using The Action machine and only use it for less than a month but I already could see that I have completed a lot more tasks than I used to. The cheerful sound of the software and a tiny message appearing in the corner of my computer screen to inform me that a task has completed gives me a sense of accomplishment.

Even though The Action Machine is a very useful software and has become my daily necessity, there are still distractions around that keep me off track once in a while. I have naturally short attention span and sometimes it’s especially difficult for me to concentrate on one thing for a long time. This is one of the thing that I have tried and it has worked wonders: I challenge myself to follow the schedule I have planned on The Action Machine for 4 hours. 4 hours doesn’t sound too scary isn’t it? But if you have succeeded for a few hours, it makes it a lot easier to succeed the whole day, and then the next day. By time I increase that challenge to 3 days, 5 days, a week. It just gets easier and easier to concentrate and follow your planned schedule when you already developed that habit.

More advices on how to keep focused and productive are given in the bonus e-book “Action Unleased” that goes with the software. There is no revolutionary information in this ebook, but many tips are extremely helpful for managing your life and after all, it’s a pleasant read.

I like the other bonus e-book much better, but this one cannot be given away, it’s only limited to the software purchaser. It’s “the biggest bang for your buck book”. In this book, Derek Franklin points out how to save from your monthly expenses, the potential savings he points out are pretty huge. Who thought you can save out more than $1000 from groceries shopping? This book is very down-to-earth and applicable. In addition to explaining how to save money from all expenses sources (from car maintenance to movies, credit card, etc), Derek Franklin also gives a few tips on how to easily earn some extra money.

There are a huge amount of identified profitable niches, readily picked products and there are more than 20 ready made campaigns (and still updating) for you to copy and implement immediately. I think the meat of this system is the campaigns as these campaigns targeting a good variety of niches, from very hot and popular to not-so-usual ones. As a test, I tried one of their campaigns, a very weird campaign about “man boobs” and got one sales right on the first day of launching. So definitely this is for lazy internet marketers to almost just plug and play!

For internet marketing beginners: 7/10 CopyNProfit is a very decent product that will bring you huge passive income over long term. As the core idea of CopyNProfit is to get quick traffic to your site through Adwords, it’s a bit risky for totally newbies to jump into Adwords before you gain enough knowledge about it.

Even though there are other kinds of advertising taught in CopyNProfit, Adwords campaign is still the favored option. It’s my favorite option also, as I always get sales right from the first day of my campaigns.

Thus it is IMPORTANT that you know all the Adwords tricks and techniques. There’re a lot of materials about Adwords in particular and Pay-per-click advertising in general in CopyNProfit, after reading you should feel confident to operate your first Adwords campaign.

Affiliate marketing basics – he talked about the basics of how affiliate marketing works and mentioned 3 main affiliate networks will be used in this system, as well as the types of advertising used.

Forum marketing – how to use forums to promote your site and how to find relevant forums to promote as well as how to promote your product effectively on a forum.

Offline promotion – he explained how offline marketing will help with high converting but highly competitive products. He also talked about his experience with offline marketing and what did and didn’t work for him.

How to sell websites – buy websites from Sitepoint and Ebay, flip them and sell again for higher profit. According to the speaker, websites from sitepoint normally sell to 6-12 months earnings. He also talked about the criteria for websites that can easily sell and explained how to price your flipped site.

He then generalized how you should use affiliate marketing as your major income stream and stressed the importance of choosing the right advertising strategy as different niches require different approaches.

The campaigns and other resources

CopyNProfit campaigns are fully made with a profitable product picked for you already, ready-made Adwords campaign details, benefits of the product summarized so that you have the information to promote it, and a list of low priced keywords for your adwords campaign.
